Iconoclutter is a series which explores the build-up of signs, diagrams, labels, and other detritus designed to organise information, value, and behaviour. These functional graphics are endlessly reproduced and rarely examined, persisting as the residue of the systems we live within.
Iconoclutter uses typology to approach vast systems through their fragments, offering a tool for recognition and examination. In doing so, it suggests one way of recognising the commons; and imagining alternative futures within an increasingly cluttered world.
